Milla Mayday 8000 Escape Respirator

The Mayday 8000 is a compact emergency escape respirator designed to support rapid evacuation from hazardous industrial environments. Built for sudden incidents such as gas leaks, fires, and accidental exposure to toxic vapours, it provides workers with up to 10 minutes of respiratory protection while leaving a contaminated area.

Equipped with an ABEK 10 activated carbon gas filter, the Mayday 8000 helps protect against a range of toxic industrial gases and vapours, including inorganic gases, acid gases, sulphur dioxide, ammonia, and related compounds with a boiling point above 65°C. It is compliant with DIN 58647-7, the recognised standard for industrial escape respirators.

Designed for intuitive use in high-pressure situations, the device features a mouthpiece and nose clip configuration that is quick to fit, easy to carry, and suitable for users with facial hair or prescription glasses. Its lightweight 150 g design and protective plastic case with integrated clip allow it to be worn on a belt, attached to workwear, or carried in a pocket so it is ready when needed.
