When you pair your ALTAIR 4XR or ALTAIR 5X multi-gas detector with an Android device running ALTAIR Connect, you will have

  • Receive gas detection readings, alarms and man-down alerts
  • Send emergency SMS text notifications with GPS location information to one or more people
  • Show up on the MSA ALTAIR Grid (where applicable; service fees apply)

Maintenance & Operational Support:
 
  • Configure instruments remotely, without the need for a PC
  • View and e-mail event records

Improved Safety Management & Compliance:
 
  • View and e-mail calibration certifications
  • Awareness of lone worker or remote instrument events
  • The platform allows for integration of third-party engineered systems or subscription safety services
