Gas Data GFM400 series Landfill Gas Analysers

The GFM400 Series of handheld field instruments mark a step change in the design, performance and maintenance of portable landll gas analysers. They meet all current demands from the landfill, biogas and contaminated land monitoring markets. Incorporating industrial standard sensors and user replaceable battery packs the GFM400 series leads the way for easy expansion, easy upgrade and easy maintenance. Gas Data’s open upgrade path design philosophy guarantees that any model can be upgraded at any time.

Has been designed with the needs of the landfill operator in mind. It has 5 gas channels, measures atmospheric, static and differential pressure – and can be used with an orifice plate. The GFM426 contains all our datalogging functionality, is lightweight, uses an clear backlit LCD display and runs for 8 hours on a single charge. The instrument is supplied in a carry case which also contains the charger, USB cable and some essential spares to get you started.

Measures the proportions of methane (by Volume and LEL – Lower Explosive Limit), Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulphide and Carbon Monoxide in soil gas. Hexane content can be measured to assist in areas with hydrocarbon vapours (from spilt fuels, oils or other contaminants), and the GFM436 can also measure gas pressure (differential and static), flow rate (instantaneous and peak) and temperature. An optional temperature sensor can be plugged in for gas temperature measurements or alternatively a vane anemometer can measure the velocity in a gas extraction system pipeline.
